    Prenatal Yoga (drop ins welcome)
    Our Signature Prenatal Yoga Classes combine strength training, flexibility and focus in a lovely community setting. Safe for all stages of pregnancy! Opens the pelvis, helps strengthen the back to support the extra weight of pregnancy, and builds endurance for childbirth.  Pranayama or breath work helps calm the mind and spirit. Also, get your questions answered about your upcoming birth!  Share the joys and trials of your pregnancy, while taking care of your body and baby.

    Prenatal Lunch Express (drop ins welcome)                                                                                             All the same love of a full class, packed into one hour and fifteen minutes.  Come on over for your lunch break, and leave yogified!

    Prenatal Yoga (Partners Welcome) (drop ins welcome)
    This class invites partners to join in our signature Prenatal Yoga Class.  All the elements of our other classes, plus partner poses done either with your own partner or with another mama in class.  Partners are always invited, but never required.  Let your partner get the support and community that you enjoy so much!  Note to partners:  no previous yoga experience is required.

    Anusara Inspired Prenatal (drop ins welcome)                                                                                 Anusara Yoga is a school of Hatha Yoga that was created by John Friend in 1997 and is based on principles of alignment and the philosophy of intrinsic goodness.  This class guides expecting mothers toward their own empowerment, strength and energy.  In this class you will learn calm, heart-opening poses to strengthen your body, your mind and your ever-growing love for your baby.  Join other mamas in this class as you journey through the joys of pregnancy and motherhood.

     

    Mommy & Me | Pre-walkers (drop ins welcome)
    These yoga classes focus on the needs of new mamas: strong core work, energizing yoga and rejuvenating poses. All done in a place where your baby is welcome to nurse, nap, or play with toys.   We involve the babies as weights, as well as some shared mama/baby poses, and infant massage.  Mommy & Me classes cater to newborns (4 weeks old) through 1 years old (pre-walkers).  Moms with toddlers will usually be more comfortable in Mommy and Walking Toddlers or Family yoga, but everyone is welcome.  Depending on their tempermant, some older kids do great in this class!

    Mommy & Walking Toddlers | Walkers-4years old (drop ins welcome)

    This yoga class focuses on the needs of mamas and toddlers and creates a fun environment for family play & bonding. It includes strong core work, energizing yoga and rejuvenating poses. Children are welcome to join in the workout or play with toys during class.   Moms with infants  will usually be more comfortable in Mommy and Me, but everyone is welcome.  Depending on their tempermant, some babies do great in this class.

     

    Family Yoga | All Ages (drop ins welcome)
    This yoga class focus on the needs of new parents  (and Grandparents) and creates a fun environment for family play & bonding. It includes strong core work, energizing yoga and rejuvenating poses. All done in a place where your kids are welcome to join in or play with toys. Mondays and Saturdays are open to ALL AGES!  (4 weeks to adult)

     

    Vinyasa Yoga 1/2 (drop ins welcome)

    Vinyasa Yoga is a dynamic sequencing of yoga poses focusing on breath, alignment, strength, flexibility and deep relaxation. Instruction will be given for beginning level students, those returning back to a regular practice as well as those who are practicing at a level 2. Moms, Dads, Granparents, Aunties & Uncles, and anyone who desires a flowing class focused on mind, body, spirit connection are welcome.  On Wednesdays, this class happens at the same time as Kids Yoga upstairs, so parents can drop the kids off, and treat themselves to yoga!

     

    Kids Yoga (pre-registration required)

    Kids are natural yogis.  We help them learn to harness that fun, creative spirit in yoga related activities, poses, and games.  We include a snack from 4-4:15, and yoga for 45 minutes after that, so kids and parents can share an hour of yoga, in separate spaces.  Kids must be able to stay without their parents (usually four years old and up, some three year olds do great in this class as well.)  This class is taken in 6 week series.

    (ages 4-8 years old)

     

    Core & Restore with Kelly Roche
    Core & Restore Yoga is a postnatal yoga class open to all women in need of connecting into the core of their being, & basking in the balancing & nurturing essence of restorative yoga postures. This class is designed to restore our internal shape after childbirth, no matter if that's 6 weeks or 6 years out from baby-land. Core & Restore Yoga will work you to a light sweat, then cradle you into a deeply soothed state to take back home... Mmmm!

     

    Slow Flow with Karen Cobble
    In this class you will experience the beauty of using the rhythm of your breath
    to move to and through poses. We move slowly enough for your body to develop
    muscle memory for the poses and still get a wonderful work out for mind and body.

     

    Mama Meditation with Helene

    This class offers guided relaxation for mamas-to-be.  Your growing baby is calling you to rest.  Join this nurturing class and allow your body, mind and spirit to be renewed.  In this class you will learn relaxation techniques that will support your connection with the growing baby inside your body as well as your connection with Inner Guidance.  In this class, you will learn how to achieve complete relaxation during childbirth.

     

    Women's Hatha (prenatal welcome) with Deb (begins 6/6/10)

    This class is for all levels (prenatal welcome), and is a restorative, nourishing, contemplative yoga practice shared with other Women.  The class offers a sacred space to attend to your body, heart and soul while integrating both gentle and dynamic movement with the breath. Through slowing down and paying attention with mindfulness to whatever arises in each posture, there is space to practice embodying your deepest motivations, desires and intentions - both on the yoga mat and beyond.

     

    Yoga For Cancer Survivors with Laura Kupperman
    Fridays at 9:30-10:45am
    This class is for survivors of any type of cancer, at any phase of survivorship. The class is geared to the needs of participating students, and includes gentle stretching, strengthening, and deep relaxation. You will also learn postures to help with side-effects from cancer treatment. Interested students must contact the instructor before their first class: laura@laurakupperman.com

     

    Yoga for Fertility with Laura Kupperman

    Join other individuals and couples who want to bring a child into their lives. This class helps prepare the body for pregnancy and taps into our own innate fertility. No matter how you are trying to grow your family, you are welcome at Yoga for Fertility.
