American Red Cross Infant CPR Class

Learn how to overcome any reluctance to act in emergency situations and to recognize and care for life threatening respiratory or cardiac emergencies in infants (under the age of 12 months) during this one-hour class.  This class incorporates DVD segments with hands on practice of skills on life like infant CPR manikins.  Each couple will receive a laminated skills card that has easy-to-read instructions and full-color photographs that present complex skills in a step-by-step manner.  The skills card also provides instruction for using an AED on a child between the ages of 1 and 8, and includes information on Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS), choking prevention and poison control.

Note: This class does not include American Red Cross certification.  American Red Cross certification can be obtained after attending this class and an additional written exam.  Cost of the certification card is in addition to the class.

 

American Red Cross Child CPR/AED Class
