Eliminating the Toxins from our Lives:
New One-Day Workshop:
“Toxins” is just a polite way of saying poisons. As most people have accepted, they are present everywhere in our environment. Our bodies readily ingest them as wolfishly as a dog thrown a piece of meat.
There are three routes by which toxins enter our bodies: in the food we eat, in the air we breathe, and through our skin.
This half-day workshop will examine ways to minimize the number of toxins we ingest, and to mitigate their effects. We will pay particular attention to the skin as a route of ingestion, since that is one that is most often ignored in discussions of this issue.
Since no one learns by being lectured at, this will be a participatory workshop, tailored to the individuals in the class. We will also break up the flow of information by exploring self-help techniques from Jin Shin Jyutsu, a system for energy balancing.
Come with questions, information, and a willingness to examine what products you take for granted, that may be harming you.
Bring a sack lunch. We will have a half-hour break in the middle.
