Mariah Spalding: Mariah studied the Pilates Comprehensive Teacher Training Course from the internationally renowed BASI (Body Arts and Science International) founded by Rael Isacowitz. She attended the University of Wyoming where she was a varsity cheerleader and then transferred to Colorado State University and earned a B.S. Health and Exercise Science. After graduation Mariah worked in the health and wellness industry where she was introduced to Pilates. Mariah suffered from chronic low back pain from years of gynmastics and cheerleading and Pilates was the solution to easing the pain. Pilates taught her to strengthen her core working with the body in alignment focusing on control, breath, and precision. Mariah learned to stretch, lengthen, and stabilize her spine to create space and movement. Mariah’'s goal is to share her knowledge and lead students in attaining life-long health benefits and happiness in Pilates as mind-body exercise. Focusing on the basic principles of Pilates, she strives to make each session unique, fun, and challenging. As a new mom, she wants to share what she has learned in regaining your core strength and stability after birth while bonding with your new baby.
