In depth breastfeeding class designed to prepare parents for longer term breastfeeding. Our "Prenatal Class" helps prepare mothers for the first 6 weeks of the babies life. This Sustained Breastfeeding class will prepare you for feeding the 6 week and beyond baby.
Class content includes:
Information about developmental nursing patterns for parents who want to nurse 1,2,3 or more years. Pumping and storing breast milk, returning to paid work, starting solids, and full weaning when the time is right for YOU.
This class can be taken by prenatal women, but is most recommended for women with young babies who are preparing to nurse beyond 6 weeks. Feel free to bring baby and/or partners! Feel free to bring your meals or snacks to share with others!
$40/family, Preregistration is required.
