Yo Mama is committed to bringing wellness and education to everyone in our community. With the introduction of our Seva Program we will be offering 2 new community assisted payment alternatives.
Seva: Seva means service in Sanskrit. With this program, you can work for the studio to subsidize your classes. Students interested in this program should let us know their skill set, and what they would like to offer to the studio. Below is a specific list of things that the studio currently needs as well as examples of ways students can contribute:
- someone with house painting experience (for one job scraping/painting of some trim)
- studio cleaning
- house cleaning
- checking in students
- book editing
- media production / video editing
Scholarship: This is a donation based program. Using the donations from special events (like our Thanksgiving class) we will offer scholarships to those who need discounted services, like yoga classes, and childbirth education. Please let us know if finances are limiting you from attending a specific class, workshop, or class package and we will do our best to offer you a scholarship.
